
Franklin Track and Field


With the boys finishing the Hockomock Dual season 3-2 and the girls securing a 5-0 record (and a Kelly-Rex title), the Franklin T&F teams are now looking forward to the post season. This includes the D1 Coaches Invitational (1/29), the Hockomock League Championship (2/9), and the Division 1 Championship meet (2/17).
There are a lot of meets coming up in the next few days. Here are the times athletes should be at FHS: 1/12: 2:45pm (varsity) 1/13: 1:50pm (NE Invite day 1) 1/14: 7:30am (NE Invite Day 2) 1/16: 9:15am (Paul Davey) If you are unsure what races you are in email your coach.
Both the boys and the girls teams picked up wins against Attleboro in the first dual meet of the season. The boys lead by Tyler Apicella, Josh Diehl, and Jake Vaccarezza won by a score of 16-45. The girls posted a complete shut out of the Blue Bombardiers winning by a score of 15-50 and were lead by Fiona Morrison, Artemisia Saparoff, and Ashley Tighe. The next meet is at Taunton HS on Tuesday, September 20th at 3:45pm
